I really like the tool! I've used it for several shoots! As others have mentioned, you'll have to use quite a few of them to hold up certain (heavier) figures, but overall, the construction and design is great! I think I'll be picking up some others!
Similar to another review, the idea is great but quality of construction is lacking. Several of the pillars do not have the metal threaded inserts seated properly, resulting in a "leaning tower of Action Figure".
I haven't yet tried re-seating them myself, but I will do so when I have chance to see if I can use them.
If this was checked and addressed aa quality control before shipping out it would be a 5 star display option.
I bought these for my collection, and they are a life changer. I tried a few before but these ones have those metal threads inside which will last forever. The others that I tried have plastic thread which will worn out in time. Clearly these were made to last. good job!
I love the idea of an adjustable height riser with a small footprint like this. But unfortunately the quality of construction just isn't sufficient for these to do their job well. The metal inserts that connect each support rod to each other are not seated flat _at all_ and even 2 or 3 levels of height takes them wildly off of level. You could not put anything but the most stable figures on top of these.
